Our prices depend on the number of interviews, their duration, and the
subsequent processing.

High-quality film recordings
Robby Reis is a Montreal-based filmmaker and photographer whose work bridges the worlds of documentary and fine art. Drawing from personal and intimate explorations of relationships, Reis’s work delves into themes of love, loss, culture and memory. Reis is co-founder of Natali Film, a film collective with a presence in both Montreal and Paris.
It is also possible to create different variants of our packages, such as adding video recording to the ‘Bronze’ and ‘Silver’ packages. We also offer the option of incorporating audio material from previously recorded conversations
(with family members, for example) into your audiobook. Alternatively, we can conduct the interview in places that are meaningful to you, like your birth house or in which city you grew up.

Frequently asked questions
In which countries is Life Story Audio available?
The headquarters are located in Montréal, Canada. Places within this radius are easier to reach, which reduces travel costs. For a few months of the year, meetings in Germany are also possible, as I visit Europe several times a year. Please contact me so that we can plan ahead. Meetings via online video are also possible.
Can I record an audiobook as a couple/family?
Yes. It is possible to talk to several family members at the same time, but I don't recommend it. When everyone speaks for themselves, the stories often become more intimate and personal.
How does payment work?
Payment by bank transfer only. 50% is payable in advance. The remainder is payable 30 days after receipt of the audio book.
What languages can be recorded in?
I speak fluent French, English and German.
What happens to my data and my stories?
Your data will be stored on a server for five years. It is also possible to extend the storage period for an additional fee. We undertake to maintain confidentiality regarding all content vis-à-vis third parties. After the interviews, you can decide by signing a contract whether you want to make your stories public, anonymous or non-anonymous.
